Ladder School

is a project of a school example that can be placed

in the tropical savanna climate regions in Africa.

Intended to be built by the communities, the design is optimized for simplicity of construction utilizing locally sourced materials.

The school was designed to function as a comfortable academic center for local kids, but also to collect rainwater and solar power and protect the community from extreme weather conditions.

Engaging local communities, supporting autonomy, and respecting environmental context and landscape,

the project is looking for possible construction and education system solutions in developing countries.
